Health is dynamic and multi-dimensional. Every choice we make and action we take regarding the food we eat, physical activities, interests, spiritual connections, social relationships and the environment directly correlates to health. These aspects influences our fitness, energy, happiness, looks, feelings, behaviours and interactions therefore they need to be focussed upon individually and as a whole.
Over the course of life, our likes, dislikes and priorities evolve to suit our time and context. This necessitates us to design new holistic health paradigms as we age. A misalignment in the various aspects of health leads to stress and anxiety about personal health.
The BB program is not limited to specific dietary and exercise approaches, it CAN incorporate them all. I truly believe there is merit in each of the approaches. The program will help you explore, adapt and adopt approaches in all aspects of health that work for you in your context.

Recognizing that being healthy means different things to individuals, each of the Four Wheels of the BB Program signifies a unique aspect of health BUT brings together all aspects to ensure a targeted focus on Holistic Health which is multi dimensional in its very nature.
Each of the Four Wheel of the BB Program need to be tailored individually to our specific needs and together they require to work in tandem to bring vitality and stability to our life.

Nourishment refers to foods we ingest to fuel, heal and energise ourselves. This is not to be confused with the word 'diet', which is what we eat for a short period of time to meet a specific goal. Nourishing foods are unrefined, minimally processed and are primarily derived from plant/animal based sources. This type of food needs to make up 85% to 90% of our food plate. There are certain truths about human nourishment and hydration that have got lost in the age of fast food, convenience and overconsumption.
Consumption should also follow certain rules of what to consume, portion size, color of your food plate, eating times and patterns, and a conducive environment in which such consumption should take place.
In current times relaxation has become a thing to do rather than a state to be in. This includes activities which put our body at ease, de-stress and rejuvenate us. This state of “being at ease” is influenced by the quality and quantity of sleep we get, the social circles we build, routines we adhere to, hobbies and interests we pursue, and the quality of relationships we develop with friends and family. Relaxation is an effective tool & coping strategy to deal with environmental stressors. In times when stress induced autoimmune and inflammatory diseases are on the rise, we need to relearn how to relax in order to continually re-energize and be prepared for what life has to offer.
This includes both natural and forced movement. Health is not only determined by gym memberships, distance run, weights lifted or body weight numbers, it is also tied to the ability to cope with life and thrive. Our focus should be to create an environment that pushes us to be active. To do this one has to make conscious choices to build physical movement into the day remembering that our bodies were made for movement and activity.
This refers to the awareness with which we partake in life and it determines how we engage with our days and lives. It’s the awareness we develop that determines the reasons for our actions. It manifests itself as the reason for doing what one does and helps us choose specific behaviours and actions as we engage with the now.
