Personal Goals
As a DM2 Diabetic patient of over 54 years standing, I was recently advised by my Army Doctor to “stand by“ and switch to Insulin. I was on the optimum dose of meteor in 1000mg twice a day & sitagliptin 100mg once a day. Any further increase in the dose of these two core medicines for a Diabetic can have disastrous consequences. I had been on Insulin for 10 years and had found it administratively inconvenient & clinically ineffective. My heartfelt entreaties to the doctors to not put me on Insulin for the second time had failed when, providentially Rittu Sinha happened to visit us at New Delhi. This gave me an opportunity to interact with her on the subject of health.

On seeing my medical report, she straightaway advised me to follow a food plan designed by her according to my individual parameters & produced a ‘Diet Card ‘for me with all the little detaisl thrown in. Within two months of following this plan, I was able to lower my blood glucose PP level from 240-250 to 140-150. Also, reduced Metformin from 1000mg BD to 500mg BD andGlasizide to half the dose. This I think was an achievement by itself and the doctors themselves were suitably surprised wanting to know how it was managed. I think the diet along with yoga asanas & 30mins of swift walking advised by her have helped me greatly in maintaining the progress made.
Style of Coaching
She scheduled regular calls and meetings with me to guide me through the process. I could always connect with her on phone or skype and she would promptly get back to me. She was very patient and educated me on how I could better manage my nutrition and exercise. We would talk a lot on how I could change some old habits and behaviors, which were not helping and achieve my goals. Her plans were very realistic and her approach patient and supportive.
The interactions
She is thoroughly professional, sincere & dedicated and incredibly honest and forthright in her advice. Makes sure that she connects with you at regular intervals to coach you wherever you may be located and whenever you may need her. I found her effort all the more commendable because I am now running my 79th year and it is that much more difficult to monitor me or change the habits of an elderly patient. Further, she has by sheer persuasion helped me increase my protein intake this helps me not get hungry too often as it keeps me full for longer. Health Coaching I think is in Rittu’s DNA. In the last 15 months that I have been associated with her, have recommended her to six potential clients requiring such wellness care & advice. With her very unassuming ways & intelligent diagnosis she has great ability to handle and help elder patients manage their diabetes. She displays the required patience to help the elderly in changing old habits and behaviors. Wish her great success in her future endeavors.

When I read Rittu’s FB post in the end of November 2018, it immediately caught my attention. Although I have been a physically active person since the past decade and a half, neither the weight nor the inches seemed to be moving in a satisfactory direction. I was always disciplined with my food as well, or so I thought! Come december, I reached out to Rittu a certified health coach and scheduled a call with her. Since then began my weight loss journey and self-discovery and there’s been no looking back! Simply put, my fitness goals were:- To reach and maintain an ideal weight range- Inch loss- Continue to have high energy and activity levels - To be Disease-free
Results achieved
In roughly 11 weeks, I saw a weight loss of 7.5 Kgs and more than an inch around my chest, abdomen, arms, hips and thighs. The results have been pleasurably noticeable as well! I find myself energized through the day and have fewer (if any) food cravings. I have achieved my weight loss targets and Riitu has continued to coach and support me during this maintenance phase.The process/ methodology: The 1st thing I was suggested was to start maintaining a ‘Food Diary’. It could either be recorded on an app on my phone or in any other digital format (such as an xl format). How it worked was that Rittu scheduled an hour-long call every week, after receiving the Food Diary for the past week. Based on that, she gave feedback on type of food to be consumed (preferences as in vegetarian or otherwise), in what form (cooked, raw, semi-cooked), the time it should be consumed, alternatives etc.Over time the frequency of the calls reduces and on achieving targeted goals (in the maintenance phase), become need-based.
The interactions
Rittu is a thorough professional. Without being overly intrusive, she kept her commitments and the calls were focussed. At the same time, she always made me feel very comfortable without being chatty! What I’ve truly appreciated about Rittu’s coaching style was her candid feedback- If, in her professional opinion, she didn’t think something was right for you; she would be direct, honest and logical about it, without being forceful. There was always some form of education imparted in each call, which made one more informed about food and other choices. She often went beyond her call of duty, sharing tips about overall wellness, health and fitness. For example, since I am a 45 year old woman, she guided me about approaching menopause, the supplements I should consider taking, strength training at the gym and so forth.In the ultimate analysis, I’m happy that I’ve begun the year well- finding a supportive coach, mentor and friend in Rittu. I have already begun recommending her to friends and family who need hand-holding and informed guidance in their wellness journey.I wish Rittu success in ‘shaping’ the bodies and minds of her participants in their quest for a better, more wholesome life!

When we started our interaction, we would chat twice a week, which now is once a week. However Rittu has always been available over the phone and on messages. Results Achieved
So far have lost 10 kilos and lots of inches. Along with that came high energy levels and happier frame of mind ☺. I still eat what I love but it’s at the right time and the right quantity! In a year, I lost 5 to 6 inches around my chest, waist, abdomen and thighs. I actually have higher energy levels. The weight came off gradually it reduced consistently each month. With no side effects at all! I did not starve myself or feel tired or lethargic at all. Rittu’s patience and coaching really worked for me. We spoke almost every other day and she would share with me her knowledge and tips to help me attain my goals.

Rittu suggested that I keep a food dairy. She also gave me a broad framework of what I should and should not eat taking into account my lifestyle and dietary preferences. She did not dictate to me but made suggestions and if I did not like them she always gave me options to ensure the changes we were making were those I could keep for a life time. Personal Goals
I am 43 year old with 2 teenage children. I never had weight issues until recently when I was diagnosed with a condition called Sub-acute Thyroiditis in Jan 2018 and was on steroids for 8 months. I had put on 10 kgs during that time, and the doctor assured me that this weight would go onces i stopped the medication but it did not happen. I was overweight, lethargic and irritable all the time.
I wanted to lose weight in a healthy way which was sustainable. My weight loss and health journey with Rittu started in January 2021 and it has been a wonderful rewarding experience.
Results achieved
During the program, I lost around 7 kgs and achieved my desirable weight, I also lost inches around my waist, chest and arms. Now I have energy throughout the day, I am not lethargic, irritable or hungry because of the food choices I make . During the program I made healthy choices and ate to my heart's content. She never imposed, she was always very motivating.
Style of Coaching
Rittu suggested maintaining a food log in the beginning of the program which I continue to do. She educated me to make healthy choices. We connected twice a week on hour- long calls where we discussed the food lod and she gave me suggestions on how I could improve my nutrition intake, foods to avoid and include in my diet to make it more effective. She also told me the importance of movement and hydration .

I am now in the maintenance phase and she still continues to guide me. She is very prompt to answer any question or queries.
